MCC board expected to extend Mount’s contract

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Central Board of Education will meet tonight. Following a scheduled closed session job performance review of Superintendent Jeff Mount, the board is expected to extend his contract an additional year. The board’s closed session will also address teacher contract negotiations. The board meets at 7 p.m. at the central business office.
