PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fraud/identity theft complaint received Friday, May 27, at 11:06 a.m. in the 2000 block of S. Lakeshore Drive.
“The victim had an unknown person take out a Verizon phone plan in his name and charge over $7,000 in phone bills,” said Sheriff Kim Cole.
