LUDINGTON — Memorial Medical Center honored its 119 volunteers Thursday night with a banquet at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. At one time Ludington alone had seven carferries operating out of its port, transporting railroad cars across Lake Michigan to the Wisconsin ports of Milwaukee, Manitowoc and Keewaunee.
