LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
-Nathan Tyler Horacek, 21, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days in jail (suspended sentence), must attend alcohol highway safety education, cannot buy/have/use alcohol or controlled substances, subject to random PBTs, must attend victim’s impact panel, and $890 in fines/costs.
-Vaughn Anthony Andrus, 38, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of disorderly drunk person and was sentenced to 90 days in jail (suspended sentence), cannot buy/have/use alcohol or controlled substances, subject to random PBTs, no contact with the victim, and $390 in fines/costs. The original charge of assault and battery was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
-Mark Rainy Metts, 68, pleaded no contest to using a tracking device on a motor vehicle and was sentenced to 11 months of probation, no contact with the victim, must have a mental health evaluation, and $700 in fines/costs. A charge of stalking was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
