REED CITY — Riemer Eye Center has opened a fourth location after purchasing Precision ICare in Reed City. The Reed City business was purchased last year and a new location, at 121 W. Upton Road, opens officially Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The new office includes five exam and treatment lanes and an expanded optical area to increase frame options for the community.
“We are excited to offer additional patient options and we can meet the needs of anyone’s budget,” said Julie Klein, Reed City location manager. Klein, an optician of over 30 years, said the location will feature brands such as RayBan, Costa, Michael Kors, Coach, Gwen Stefani, Armani along with many others,
In addition to the new optical and with the growing practice, Dr. Kayla McCaig will join Dr. Erica Watson to see patients in the new location. “Both Dr. McCaig and Dr. Watson will work closely with the eye surgeons in treating medical patients as well as providing vision services,” Dr. Andrew Riemer, owner of Riemer Eye Center PC, said, “We are pleased with the support we have received from community and remain committed to provide the latest treatment options for patients including treatments for macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes and glaucoma. ”
Along with the Reed City Chamber of Commerce, Riemer Eye Center will host a ribbon cutting and reception on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 4:30 pm.
“We would like to invite the community to join us and look forward to continuing to provide quality services to the Reed City community”, Sue DeMott, practice administrator, said, “We will be offering special opening week discounts and hope that everyone can come and see this beautiful new office.”
Riemer Eye Center was founded in Ludington by Dr. Riemer in July 1994. It now also includes locations in Manistee and Cadillac as well.
Riemer Eye Center has plans to expand into additional areas in the near future.
