Eva Tunison
Eva Leona Tunison, 81, of Ludington, formerly of Pickey, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.
Eva was born on March 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Aurthur and Amelia (Iverson) Reimer. On January 15, 1962, she married Kenneth J. Russell, Sr. She was self employed as a home health care worker. In 1998, she had retired. She also worked in the factories, as well as the SS Badger.
Eva was an exceptional seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and knitting. She also liked gardening. She frequented the casino, often found playing slots. She was most proud of her five sons.
Eva is survived by her sons, Kenny, Jr., Robbie, Danny, David, and Mike; grandchildren, Kenny III, Ashley, Nick, Jimmy, Shanna, Caleb, Amber, Mike, Jr., Austin, Brianna, Evangelina, Haleigh, Jayln, and Sam; great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Nataliy, Kenzliy, Baylie, Brianna, Julianna, Aurora, Harlee, Bentley, and Presley; and siblings, George and Kathy.
Eva was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Russell, Dawayne Burtrang, and Tom Tunison; granddaughter, Danielle Jo Russell; and siblings, Art, Walter, Roy, Lorraine, Charlotte, Ann, Margarett, Lucille, Diane, and Alice.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at noon at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, visitation begins at 11a.m. at the funeral home.
