Annie Keating-Martin
Annie Keating-Martin, 67, of Ludington formerly of Lansing, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
She was a firm believer in the power of prayer, she loved fiercely and was an avid sports fan and hater of Alabama football. If you met Annie, you would not soon forget her. She was one of a kind, most likely known for her colorful language. Annie’s favorite place to be was behind the bar at Charlie’s Bar in Scottville where she could BS with the regulars, call people out when they acted like a ‘jackass’, and root for her favorite teams (Notre Dame, MSU, and Green Bay). Annie was a people person thru and thru and she had a knack for reading a person’s character. Aside from football her greatest joy was her sons, Ian and Joe, and coloring with her granddaughters. She will always be remembered by the many stuffed animals she collected and brought for them each visit.
She is survived by her sons, Forest Martin and Ian (Jeannine) Martin; granddaughters, Kenslee, Nora, and Lilian Martin; brothers Pat (Patricia) Keating, Ed (Deb) Keating, Mike (Trudy) Keating, Tim (Pam) Keating, and Tom (Andrea) Keating.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Maggie Keating; and her special friend Tom Graham.
The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to Charlie Valentine and Ron Jabrocky.
A celebration of life will be held in Scottville on April 13, 2025. Details to follow on Facebook and Mason County Press.
Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.OakGroveLudington.com.
