Sheila Jean Page, 75, of Ludington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters on December 6, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Sheila was born on March 10, 1949, the second eldest of 10 children of Clarence and Marjorie (Cannon) Page in Alton, Ill. She is survived by only one sibling, Cheryl (John) Rand of Wisconsin.
Our Mom was known for her sense of humor, bubbly laughter and her joyful singing. Many may remember her from her days as the manager of Walmart’s lay-a-way before retiring there as a cashier after 25 years of service and during most of those years, she also owned and operated her own cleaning company serving the Grand Rapids and Holland areas. Our mom loved Walt Disney World and would take vacations there as often as possible.
Sheila is survived by: her daughters, Wendy (Zack) Morrow-VanderWall, Kandy Bahr, Lorrine Weston, Cheryl (Bill) Freeman, Sherri (Shawn) Mclain; grandchildren, Michael (Sara) Morrow III, Tonya (Nathanel) Rumba, Jody Morris, Kristina (Sam) Alvestefer, Courtney Parsons, Nicholas (Loren) Livingston, Amber (Cory) Parsons, Joshua Freeman, William Freeman, Michaela McLain, Isabella, McLain, Alexandria McLain, and Dominic McLain; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
We are comforted by knowing that our mom knew the LORD and is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ. For those of us who trust in Christ this is but a moment of separation until we see her again in Glory.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 1 to 3 p.m. at All Occasions Events & Floral, 110 N James Street, Ludington.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Services, Pere Marquette Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
