Judith Ann Wickery, 84, of Ludington, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Judith was born on August 30, 1940, to Eugene Nickelsen and Mary Rousseau. She was a lifetime resident of Ludington and graduated from Ludington High School in 1958. On June 20, 1959, Judith married Gary Wayne Wickery.
She loved gardening and canning, and to read Harlequin romance novels. She was an avid bowler, and golf enthusiast, but most people knew her from her working at Napa Auto Parts store, where she knew everyone, and they all knew her. She loved to camp and enjoyed being a member of the Ludington Boat Club. She was a regular contributor to the Little River Casino and the Master Care Giver to her family, where she always had a smile and was always interested in their lives.
Judith is survived by her son, Ronald (Rachael) Wickery; daughter, Lyn Deshawn; grandchildren, Gary Deshawn, Aaron (Christine) Deshawn, and Jason Wickery; sisters, June Terryn and Johnette Taylor, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Nickelsen; mother, Mary Rousseau; sister, Darlene Copenhaver; husband, Gary Wickery; and son-in-law, John Deshawn.
