Notice of Public Hearing: Michigan Community Development Block Grant Funding for Emergency Repairs Program
Mason County will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Mason County Airport Terminal, 5300 W. US-10, Ludington (Pere Marquette Township) for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to examine and submit comments on the proposed application for a CDBG grant.
Mason County proposes to use CDBG grant funds in the amount of $51,997 for emergency repairs using program income from prior Community Block Development Grants. The entire amount will be used to benefit low-to-moderate-income persons. All activities, upon completion, will benefit low- to moderate- income households. Zero persons will be displaced as a result of the proposed activities and all home repairs will done in occupied homes.

Comments may be submitted in writing through 12-9-24 or made in person at the public hearing.
Mason County has not received any findings in the past 5 years on CDBG programs funded by the State of Michigan. The County ensures compliance in every grant activity it engages in.
