VICTORY TOWNSHIP — A 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s deputies Sunday, Nov. 24, shortly before 5 p.m. in the 2900 block of of North Victory Corners Road 911 following a 911 call reporting an unwanted person.
“When asked to leave by deputies, the suspect refused and fought with three deputies,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. “During the arrest, he was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl.”
He is charged with three counts of assaulting/resisting/obstructing arrest, one count of trespassing, and one count of fentanyl possession.

Friday, Nov. 22,2024:
- 5:13 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Fountain Road east of Stiles Road, Victory Township.
- 9:01 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Jebavy Drive, Pere Marquette Township.
- 2:47 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive and Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 4:02 p.m., two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township. The complainant reported striking the back of a vehicle in front of them, and the vehicle that was struck left the scene.
Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024:
- 3:24 a.m., alarm activation, Amber Township.
- 9:58 p.m., three-vehicle crash, minor injury, Jebavy Drive north of Fisher Road, Hamlin Township.
Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024:
- 8:16 p.m., a 19-year-old Fountain man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 4000 block of North Stephens Road, Sherman Township.
