Republican candidates win PM Township seats

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — The four Republican candidates running for seats on the Pere Marquette Charter Township Board of Trustees prevailed Tuesday evening, defeating the only Democratic candidate, Ron Soberalski. Soberalski, along with Andrew Kmetz III, James Nordlund and Henry Rasmussen were all incumbents while Megan Tresnak is a newcomer to the township board.

Results were as follows:

Ron Soberalski (D): 655

Andrew Kmetz III (R): 841

James Nordlund (R): 891

Henry Rasmussen (R): 772

Megan Tresnak (R): 839
