Man arrested for drunk driving following hit-and-run rollover crash

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 27-year-old Muskegon man was arrested for operating while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident following a rollover crash Sunday, Oct. 27, around 4:30 a.m. on the US 31 freeway near US 10, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

  • 7:40 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 27-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued by Mason County’s  51st Circuit Court, 800 block of North Rowe Street, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 8:20 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Johnson Road, Amber Township.
  • 9:52 p.m,. (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Hansen Road, Custer Township.
  • 10:16 p.m,. (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024:

  • 1:07 a.m., (LPD), a 26-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop on a warrant for parole absconding issued by the Lansing tether unit, Ludington Avenue and Jackson Road, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 2:36 a.m., (LPD), a 37-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a warrant issued in Kent County for child support. 300 block of West Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 3:44 a.m,. (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of the Pere Marquette Highway exit, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 2:12 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
  • 4:47 p.m., (MCSO), a 54-year-old Morris, Alabama man was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant on an original charge of arson issued in Mason County, 2500 block of North Lakeshore Drive, Hamlin Township.
  • 5:10 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and US 31, Amber Township.
  • 9:10 p.m., (LPD), a 48-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant, 300 block of South James Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 9:24 p.m., (LPD), a 43-year-old Ludington man was arrested for aggravated domestic assault, 800 block of East Loomis Street, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024:

  • 6:06 a.m., (MCSO), a 57-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 4100 block of Kinney Road, Pere Marquette Township. 
  • 10:55 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
  • 10:39 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 west of Darr Road, Custer Township.
