FREE SOIL TOWNSHIP —  A 43-year-old Free Soil man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies Sunday, Oct. 13, at 4:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of East Hoague Road after he allegedly made a 911 call “reporting numerous persons in his residence who had killed his family,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“He further reported that a subject armed with a gun was hiding in the residence,” said Sheriff Cole. “A female was found in the residence, and an additional possession of meth charge is being submitted against her — a 38-year-old from Grand Rapids, Michigan. No other persons were located. Deputies reported the male appeared under the influence of drugs.”
