LUDINGTON — The City of Ludington will host an open house on Friday, Sept. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Ludington City Hall, 400 S. Harrison St., as an opportunity for the public to meet the final four city manager candidates.
The final four city manager candidates were selected by the city council during its regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 26. The council met in closed session, which is allowable by the Michigan Open Meetings Act, to discuss the candidates with search consultant firm, Double Haul Solutions. Following the closed session, the final candidates were selected. They include:
Kaitlyn Aldrich
Kaitlyn Aldrich, village Manager of Kingsley.
Greg Eilliot
Gregg Elliot, city administrator and director of community development for the City of Adrian.
Patrick Jordan
Patrick Jordan, county administrator for Ionia County and former city manager of the City of Escanaba.
Pepper Lockhart
Pepper Lockhart, city manager of the City of Evart.
“The selection of the next city manager is a critical step in shaping the future of Ludington,” said Mayor Mark Barnett. “We encourage the community to participate in this process, as these individuals will play a pivotal role in our city’s growth and development.”
Candidate interviews will take place on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at city hall. Interviews are open to the public to observe.
