Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024:

• 2:22 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a report will be forwarded to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office seeking a warrant against a 42-year-old Ludington woman following a traffic stop ​for possession of methamphetamine, Ludington Avenue and Staffon Street, City of Ludington.
• 5:30 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Forest Trail west of LaSalle Road, Grant Township.
• 6:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of Hawley Road, Summit Township.
• 11:30 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Morton Road, Riverton Township.
• 1:50 p.m., (MCSO), car/turkey crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Wilson Road, Custer Township.
• 4:50 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.
• 11:41 p.m., (MCSO), damaged property — slashed tires on vehicle, 3900 block of West Chauvez Road, Riverton Township.

Friday, Aug. 23, 2024:

• 8:48 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Appleton Road, Riverton Township.
• 2:14 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, 4700 block of West US 10, Amber Township.
• 4:38 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 51-year-old Branch man was cited for driving while license suspended (DWLS) following a traffic stop near Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street, Pere Marquette Township.
• 5:36 p.m., (MCSO), ​a 20-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop on a Mason County warrant for failure to appear and a charge of open intoxicants, Schoenherr Road and US 10, Branch Township. The driver, a 22-year-old Free Soil man, was cited for DWLS.
• 6:37 p.m., (MCSO), a 22-year-old Fountain man was arrested on charges of felony firearm and possession of meth following a traffic stop where suspected meth and a pistol were recovered, Reek and Conrad roads, Custer Township.
• 6:46 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Amber Township.
• 7:34 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Fisher Road, Victory Township.
• 8:17 p.m., a 62-year-old Big Rapids man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, US 10 and Darr Road, Custer Township.
• 9:07 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Mears man was cited for driving while license revoked following a traffic stop, US 10 and US 31, Amber Township.
• 11:40 p.m., (LPD), a 21-year-old Grand Haven man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic crash, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024:

• 12:26 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road south of Kinney Road, Eden Township.
• 3:36 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.

Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024:

• 12:42 a.m., (LPD), a 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a warrant and charges of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
