The Ludington Police Department made two separate arrests recently for methamphetamine possession in the City of Ludington, according to Ludington Police Chief Chris Jones.
A 48-year-old Ludington woman was arrested in the 200 block of East Melendy Street for domestic assault and possession of methamphetamine Tuesday, Aug. 6, shortly before 11 p.m. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail. Shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, a 50-year-old Ludington woman was arrested in the 500 block of South Emily Street for possession of methamphetamine, delivery of a controlled substance and a parole violation. She was also lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024:
- 7 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Sugar Grove Road west of US 31, Victory Township.
- 9:31 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Victory Corners south of Decker Road, Amber Township.
- 2:49 p.m., (MCSO), a 27-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a Manistee County contempt of court warrant following a three-vehicle crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway south of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
- 7:07 p.m., (MCSO), a 30-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, Broadway Avenue and Main Street, City of Scottville.
- 9:12 p.m., (LPD), a 55-year-old Ludington man was arrested at Waterfront Park for disorderly conduct and obstructing police. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
- 11:19 p.m., (LPD), a 28-year-old Ludington woman was arrested in the 400 block of East Dowland Street for domestic assault and interfering with a telecommunications device. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
