Start your day off at the Western Michigan Old Engine Club Show at Scottville Riverside Park. The 40th annual show goes on all day. See previous story.
Then, at 6 p.m. head to downtown Ludington for Friday Night Live. Among the many things to see there tonight will be the Scottville Clown Band at 7 p.m. FNL goes until 9 p.m.
At 8 p.m. singer Tyler Reed will take the stage at the Scottville Clown Band Shell. At 9:30, there will be a free movie at the shell. Bring a lawn chair or blanket (you might want bug spray too!).
The featured film is “The Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Treasure,” written and directed by Harold Cronk of Amber Township and produced by Scottville native and Ludington seasonal resident Edgar Struble. Cronk and Struble will be there to talk about the film as will actor Rick Plummer, who is also director of performing arts at West Shore Community College.
