HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — Christopher Cook and Johnaine Gurzynski won the Hamlin Township Board of Trustees seats during Tuesday’s Republican primary election.
Unofficial results were:
Cook, 112; Gurzynski, 149 and Ronald Key, 88.
Cook and Gurzynski’s names will appear in the November General Election as the Republican candidates for the two seats. There are no Democratic candidates.
Hamlin Township will also have a new supervisor and clerk as long-time Supervisor Nancy Vandervest and long-time Clerk Cathy Lewis are not seeking re-election. Marta Greenslait is the Republican candidate for supervisor and Katie Stewart is the Republican candidate for clerk. There are no Democratic candidates.
