Editor’s Note: I have to apologize for the poor quality of the image of this video. I attempted to livestream the event using the hotspot from my iPad, as there is no public WiFi at Waterfront Park. Unfortunately, my hotspot, which is normally pretty reliable, was not keeping up with the video. The streaming camera I use is able to record to memory card, so I recorded to memory card. As you will see the video quality is not at my normal standard. This particular camera allows me to control it remotely, but it seemed to capture the picture rather poorly. With that said, I wanted to run this video anyway because it contains some valuable insight to the candidates.

LUDINGTON — The Chamber Alliance of Mason County hosted a primary election candidates’ forum Thursday, July 11, at Waterfront Park. The forum — which was not a debate — featured candidates who are running in county-level contested races in the Aug. 6 primary election. Those Republican races include Mason County Prosecuting Attorney, Mason County Drain Commissioner and the fourth and seventh districts of the Mason County Board of Commissioners. There are no county-level Democratic races.
Additionally, information was provided about the senior millage renewal.
MCP will soon begin publishing interviews with each of those candidates as well.
