SCOTTVILLE — Almost 200 children attended two sessions of reptile presentations by Raven Hill Discovery Center Tuesday at the Scottville branch of the Mason County District Library. Over 250 attended the same program in Ludington on Monday. Children learned about various reptiles and even got to hold them.
All library programs are free. Children under the ages of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
On Monday, July 8, the Ludington library will host the SkyLab Planetarium Show at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Shows are limited to 25 people at a time. Tickets will be given out the day of the event due to limited access. According to a press release from the library, the event will not be of interest to smaller children as it requires longer periods of sitting still in a dark area.
