Anderson
LUDINGTON — The Stage Left Theatre Company is hosting an Intro to Improv workshop with instruction by Nathan Anderson and Logan Monson. The workshop is for people ages 16 and older.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 10 a,m, to 1p.m. at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, 107 S. Harrison St.
Cost for the workshop is $10 for Stage Left Theatre Company Members (those who have worked on a Stage Left production in the past) and for members of the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, and $25 for non-members.
Monson
Anderson is a board member of the Stage Left Theatre Company and has been improvising his way through shows for 10 years, and improvised his way through life for 16 years prior to that. Nathan has been in multiple productions, both with Stage Left and at West Shore Community College. He has also written and directed pieces for Stage Left in the past.
Monson, a Ludington native, is an actor, comedian, and alumnus of the Stage Left Theatre Company. He trained in improv at ‘The Comedy Project’ in Grand Rapids starting in 2019 and has been in multiple productions locally. Before moving to Detroit, Monson starred as ‘Wadsworth’ in West Shore Community College’s 2021 production of “Clue.”
Since moving Monson has integrated himself into the metro Detroit comedy scene, joining Ants In The Hall in 2022 for a yearlong run where he helped to put on a “partially scripted, mostly improvised, and completely different” themed comedy show at Planet Ant on a weekly basis.
