AMBER TOWNSHIP — Filer Credit Union opened its first Mason County office last Friday with an open house celebration. The new office is located at 3380 W. US 10-31 in front of Meijer.
“We are excited to open an office in Mason County,” said Kyle Gurzynski, chief executive officer of the credit union. “A significant number of our members live in Mason County and we believe this new office will provide a convenient service to those members along with future members. Our team has worked hard to make Filer’s ease of service and accessibility what it is today. Our ability to offer higher deposit rates and lower loan rates is a strategic decision to give back more to our members. We encourage everyone to come see how we can not only save, but make them money as well.”
Gurzynski said the new location offers Filer Credit Union’s array of financial services and provides community members with the opportunity to work one on one with Filer’s member specialists, mortgage lenders, and business service representatives.
Filer Credit Union is based in Filer Township, south of Manistee in Manistee County. It has been serving its communities since 1951 with the mission of developing financial wellness through community relationships and education.
