79th District Court sentencings, posted June 17, 2024

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Corey James Horton, 28, pleaded no contest on June 10 to domestic violence and was sentenced to 93 days in jail, must seek outpatient treatment, must not violate any laws, no content with the victim, and $480 in fines/costs.

-Kurt Matthew Tiles, 69, pleaded guilty on June 12 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was sentenced to 93 days in jail, must complete alcohol highway safety education, must not violate any laws, no drugs/alcohol/controlled substances, subject to random PBTs, must attend victim’s impact panel, and $890 in fines/costs. A charge of operating with a blood alcohol level of .17 or above was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

-Rebecca Ann Woodward, 39, pleaded guilty on June 12 to truancy and was sentenced to pay $250 in fines/costs.

-William Jess Stubbs, 64, pleaded guilty on June 10 to second offense operating while intoxicated and was sentenced to seven days in jail, vehicle immobilized for 90 days, must completed alcohol highway safety education, must have a substance abuse evaluation, must not violate any laws, no alcohol/controlled substances, must attend victim’s impact panel, and $990 in fines/costs.
