The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Monday, June 10, 2024:

  • 6:51 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 42-year-old Ludington woman and a 42-year-old Ludington man were arrested following an incident in the 200 block of South Park Street, City of Ludington. The female was arrested for a failure to appear warrant and a bond violation issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court, and the man was arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI). Both suspects were lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Tuesday, June 11, 2024:

  • 1:51 a.m., (LPD), a 25-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for domestic assault, 600 block of Sherman Oaks Drive, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 12:55 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), gas drive-off, $43.19 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:56 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Dewey Road, Sherman Township.

Wednesday, June 12, 2024:

  • 3:25 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, no injury, Washington Road and 86th Avenue, Weare Township in Oceana County.
  • 10:16 a.m., (MCSO), a 45-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two outstanding failure to appear warrants issued in Mason County, 1100 block of South Dennis Road, Amber Township.
  • 2:41 p.m., (LPD), a 35-year-old Eaton Rapids man was arrested following a call reporting a suspicious person, 200 block of South Washington Avenue, City of Ludington. He was arrested for a failure to appear warrant issued in Ingham County with a Lower Peninsula pick-up range. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
  • 5:23 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of a power washer, 100 block of East Conrad Road, Custer Township. The case remains under investigation.
  • 6:15 p.m., (MCSO), three-vehicle crash, no injury, 3900 block of West US 10, Amber Township.

Thursday, June 13, 2024:

  • 4:47 a.m., (LPD), a 30-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for OWI following a traffic stop, 900 block of Lakeshore Drive, City of Ludington. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.
