BRANCH TOWNSHIP — A 40-year-old Branch man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies on twelve warrants during a traffic stop Saturday, June 1, shortly after 3 a.m. in the 6100 block of East US 10, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.
The man was wanted on eight failure to appear warrants issued in Muskegon County; two warrants issued by the Norton Shores Police Department for breaking and entering; a warrant for assault issued by the Muskegon Police Department; and a failure to appear warrant issued by the Muskegon Heights Police Department.
The man was also charged with driving while license suspended.

Friday, May 31, 2024:
- 12:03 a.m., alarm activation, Grant Township.
- 9:21 a.m., a 55-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for assault following a 911 call, 3700 block of West Conrad Road, Amber Township.
- 11:40 a.m., a 21-year-old Branch woman was arrested on two outstanding failure to warrants issued in Mason County, 8900 block of East US 10, Branch Township.
- 2:44 p.m., a warrant is being requested for a 49-year-old Scottville man for retail fraud following an investigation at Walmart, West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
Saturday, June 1, 2024:
- 4:11 a.m., alarm activation, Amber Township.
- 6:09 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Dewey Road west of Sherman Road, Hamlin Township.
- 8:24 a.m., larceny, 2900 block of West Johnson Road, Amber Township. The complainant reported numerous items taken from the residence.
- 10:22 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Hawley Road east of Brye Road, Riverton Township.
Sunday, June 2, 2024:
- 2:28 p.m., a 36-year-old Scottville woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant issued in Mason County, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, City of Ludington.
