The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
-Amber Kay Weymouth, 22; assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence; arrested May 18 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 23; preliminary hearing: June 12; bail: $250 cash.
-Daniel Lee Adams, 68; assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and larceny less than $200; arrested May 25 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 26; preliminary hearing: June 12; bail: $5,000/10 percent.
-Jonathan Aubrey Johnson, 52; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy); arrested May 25 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 26; preliminary hearing: June 12; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
-Cora Jean Libby, 55; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and second offense habitual offender; arrested May 27 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 28; preliminary hearing: June 12; bail: $250/10 percent.
-Jennifer Lynn Prochaska, 39; possession of a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine), third-degree retail fraud, and second offense habitual offender; arrested May 26 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 28; preliminary hearing: June 12; bail: $50,000 cash.
Misdemeanors
-Sally Ann Mishler, 46; two counts of truancy; arrested September 11, 2023, by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 23; pretrial: June 10; bail: $250 cash.
-Reenya Bilal-Clinton Burrell, 32; disorderly person disturbing the peace; arrested May 24 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned May 24; pretrial: June 10; bail: $500 personal recognizance.
-Steven Luke Dykman, 28; improper license plates; arrested May 15 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned May 23; pleaded guilty.
-Crysta Marie Martin, 57; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance); arrested May 8 by Michigan State Police, arraigned May 23; pretrial: June 17; bail: personal recognizance.
Sentencings
The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
-Alejandro Estaban Mendez, 22, pleaded guilty on May 29 to operating while impaired by liquor and was sentenced to 93 days in jail, $790 in fines/costs, must complete an alcohol highway safety education program, must not violate any laws, no drugs/alcohol/controlled substances without a prescription, and subject to random PBTs and drug tests. A charge of operating while intoxicated was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
-Nicolas Jon Kasdorf, 58, pleaded guilty on May 29 to domestic violence and disorderly person disturbing the peace and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, $605 in fines/costs, must complete an outpatient treatment program, must not violate any laws, no drugs/alcohol/controlled substances without a prescription, and subject to random PBTs and drug tests.
