Anthony Earl Green pleaded guilty, June 9, 2020 to one count of delivery/manufacture of 50-450 grams of cocaine, two counts of delivery/manufacture of cocaine less than 50 grams and third-offense habitual offender.

Green was a “no show” for his sentencing hearing, Aug. 11, 2020, and Judge Susan K. Sniegowski issued a bench warrant for his arrest for failure to appear.

The drug charges stem from a Jan. 16, 2020 arrest by the State, Sheriffs and Chiefs Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT). Green initially faced five felony counts of cocaine delivery, one high-court misdemeanor of maintaining a drug house and fourth-offense habitual offender.

His habitual offender status elevated his maximum possible sentence to life in prison, said (now retired) Mason County Prosecutor Paul Spaniola.

Spaniola previously said Green sold 56 grams of cocaine in connection to his most serious conviction.

According to the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS), Green served previous prison terms for Mason County convictions of prisoner in possession of contraband, delivery/manufacture of cocaine less than 50 grams, delivery/manufacture of marijuana and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Judge Sniegowski ordered two concurrent terms of 70 months (5.83 years) to 40 years for his other two convictions. He was also ordered to pay $1,309 in fines and costs. He received credit for 38 days served in jail.
