Fireworks returning to Hamlin Lake

May 23, 2024

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP — A fireworks display will return to Hamlin Lake beginning at sundown on Saturday, July 6. The display is sponsored by the Hamlin Lake Preservation Society.

“After a brief hiatus, the beloved tradition of the July fireworks is back, thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of community members,” said Christine Lamb, treasurer of the Preservation Society. “Their unwavering dedication and contributions have made it possible to reignite the night with dazzling displays of color and light. The Hamlin Lake Preservation Society extends its deepest gratitude to all who donated and showed their commitment to preserving this cherished tradition. It is through the collective efforts of the community that the magic of the July fireworks will once again fill the air with joy and wonder.”

While the fireworks return this year, the Hamlin Lake Preservation Society also looks ahead to the future. To ensure the continuation of the tradition for years to come, the Society is encouraging community members to consider making donations toward the 2025 fireworks celebration.

“Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a vital role in keeping this cherished tradition alive for future generations to enjoy,” Lamb said.

Donations can be made securely online through the Hamlin Lake Preservation Society website, or by contacting the Society directly.
