Deputies investigate string of break-ins to Jebavy Drive businesses

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Nine businesses located in the 300 block of North Jebavy Drive were broken into or an attempted break-in was made over the weekend, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“On Saturday, February 10, 2024 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm at a business in the 300 block of North Jebavy Drive,” said Sheriff Cole. “Responding deputies discovered a window broken and entry into the business gained. K-9 Diego started tracking the suspect to the south from the scene and located a second business that an attempted break-in occurred. As deputies canvassed the area, a total of nine businesses in the 300 block of North Jebavy had either been broken in to or attempts had been made to gain entry.
Deputies continue to investigate these incidents.”
