79th District Court arraignments, Jan. 5, 2024

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
-Daniel Lee Bothwell, 47; tampering with an electronic monitoring device, third-offense domestic violence, and two counts of fourth-offense habitual offender; arrested July 3, 2023, by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 28; probable cause hearing: Jan. 10; bail: $100,000 cash.
-Bryant William Slade, 48; possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy); arrested Dec. 26 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 28; probable cause hearing: Jan. 10; bail: $10,000/10 percent.
-Evan Lee Fargo, 31; first-degree criminal sexual conduct; date of offense: Oct. 1, 2013, by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Jan. 3; probable cause hearing: Jan. 17; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
-Tracy John Straub, 36; two counts of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (narcotics/cocaine), maintaining a drug house, and second offense habitual offender; arrested Oct. 4 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned Dec. 31; probable cause hearing: Jan. 10; bail: $1,000/10 percent.
-William Wallace Feldman, 19; carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a loaded firearm in a vehicle; arrested Jan. 2 by Michigan State Police; arraigned Jan.3; probable cause hearing: Jan. 17; bail: $500/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Jared Michael Chrysler, 33; public intoxication; arrested Dec. 29 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned Jan.3; pretrial: Jan. 10; bail: $5,000/10 percent.
