MANISTEE — The SS City of Milwaukee carferry museum is currently lit up for the holidays. The historic ship is docked near US 31 north of the Manistee River. During the summer season the City of Milwaukee and the decommissioned U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Acacia are open for tours. The boats are owned by the Society for the Preservation of the S.S. City of Milwaukee and USCGC Acacia, a non-profit organization. For more detail, click here.
