“Love on Earth” play auditions postponed
LUDINGTON — Auditions for Stage Left Theatre Company’s production of “Love on Earth” have been postponed until Wednesday, January 3 and Thursday, January 4 due to illness. They will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the West Shore Bank Room of the Ludington branch of the Mason County District Library, 217 E. Ludington Ave.
Seasoned and new actors ages 15 and older are encouraged to audition for this vignette-style play written by local playwright Maripat Allen and directed by Nicki Danyluk.
The rehearsal schedule will be extremely flexible with each actor only needing to rehearse once or twice per week. Those auditioning will be given an excerpt from the script to read. Auditioning in pairs is acceptable.
About the show:
Aphrodite is having trouble in her job as a love goddess, so Zeus decides to review some of her cases. In the following eight short, dramatic, and comedic “cases”, couples grapple with their relationships, while the gods discover the challenges of human love.
Performances will be Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, February 9, 10, and 11 and 16, 17 and 18 at the Blu Moon Bistro, 125 S. James St. Performances are at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays. For additional information, email stagelefttheatreco@gmail.com.
