VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Students in the West Shore Community College/Michigan State University Ag Club met Tuesday evening to prepare boxes for WSCC students in need during the holiday season. The students are enrolled in the collaborative program between WSCC and Michigan State University’s Institute of Agricultural Technology. Along with their advisor, Dr. Constance Schwass, the students wrapped several boxes and will fill them with food items. Schwass said among the items will include frozen broiler chickens that were raised by the West Shore Educational Service District’s Career and Technical Education high school agriscience students, pies donated by Sara Lee and several other Christmas meal items.
