13th Ludington ball drop is New Year’s Eve
LUDINGTON — The 13th Pure Ludington New Year’s Eve ball will take place on Sunday, Dec. 31 in downtown Ludington.
Festivities kick off at 9 p.m. on Ludington Avenue where participants can enjoy music, a beer tent, and the ball drop. The lit ball will be dropped at the stroke of midnight, followed by a fireworks display downtown.
Other highlights of the evening include:
- Free, family entertainment.
- Beer, wine and seltzer available for purchase.
- Commemorative light-up glasses for sale.
- Music by a DJ.
- Warm-up stations at downtown businesses hosting their own NYE events.
- Free rides home through the Safe Rides program.
