LHS Drama to present “The Women of Lockerbie”
LUDINGTON — Ludington High School Drama will present “The Women of Lockerbie” on Thursday, Nov. 16, Friday, Nov. 17, and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at L.F. Peterson Auditorium.
“The Women of Lockerbie” was written by Deborah Brevoort and takes place in Lockerbie, Scotland during a memorial service for the victims of the 198 Pan Am Flight 103 flight. The story takes place seven years after the crash and follows Mr. and Mrs. Livingston of New Jersey who lost their son during the crash. The couple attempt to reconcile their grief as they search for his remains, seemingly the only way for them to find closure. Along the way, the Livingstons are counseled by Lockerbie residents who are going up against the American government to obtain the clothing of the victims which is being kept in a warehouse and vying to prevent the clothing from being incinerated at dawn.
The play is director by Chris Plummer.
