Here are the current conditions for the Lake Michigan shoreline and Mason County (including Pentwater) as of 9:30 a.m.

Tonight is the weekly concert in the Tuesdays at the Shell concert series at Scottville Clown Band Shell, featuring Chad Rushing, performing what he calls “hillbilly rock with a touch of Cajun spice.” In the event of thunderstorm or heavy rain the concert will be cancelled.

Ludington Stearns Park: 49 F

Ludington State Park (Big Sable Point): 51 F

Summit Park: 43 F

Pentwater: 58 F

Afternoon air temperatures:

Ludington and Pentwater: Cloudy at 69 degrees F changing to mostly cloudy and 74 F by 3 p.m. Humidity: 87%; precipitation: 0; wind: southwest at 5 mph.

Scottville: Cloudy at 72 degrees F increasing to 78 and cloudy by 3 p.m. Isolated thunderstorms beginning at 4 p.m. Humidity: 85% decreasing to 65% by mid-afternoon. Precipitation: 0; wind at 4 mph.
