Warrant arrest tops police activity

LUDINGTON — An 18-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Ludington police officers on an outstanding warrant issued by Mason County’s 79th District Court for an assault charge Thursday, Oct. 26, shortly after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sixth and Taylor streets, according to Cpt. Steve Wietrzykowski. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023:
- 6:49 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Free Soil Road east of Tubbs Road, Free Soil Township.
- 7:26 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of US 10, Amber Township.
Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023:
- 8 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Hoague Road west of Custer Road, Free Soil Township.
- 11:48 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.
No recent activity was reported by the Scottville Police Department.
