51st Circuit Court sentencings, posted Oct. 13, 2023

LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced this week in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court:
– Margaret Ann Sweet, 66, pleaded guilty Aug 24, 2023 to methamphetamine possession and was sentenced Oct. 10, 2023 to 20 months to 15 years in prison with credit for 247 days served in jail and $198 in fines and costs.
– Bradley James Skofic, 22 pleaded guilty Aug. 8, 2023 to two counts of larceny in a building and was sentenced Oct. 10, 2023 to two concurrent terms of 189 days in jail with credit for 189 days served and $266 in fines and costs.
– Cody Douglas Wallace-Hill, 27, pleaded guilty Aug. 8, 2023 to embezzlement $1,000-$20,000 and received a delayed sentence Oct. 10, 2023 of one day in jail with credit for one day served; 11 months probation; restitution of $4,653.71 to Meijer; and $468 in fines and costs. A new sentencing is set for Aug. 20, 2024.
– Christina Lynn Barton, 61, pleaded guilty Aug. 8, 2023 to assaulting/resisting/obstructing police and was sentenced Oct. 10, 2023 to 106 days in jail with credit for 106 days served; three years probation; and $598 in fines and costs.
– Dawson Alexander Parks, 24, pleaded guilty Aug. 8, 2023 to failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced Oct. 10, 2023 to five days in jail with credit for five days served; two years probation; and $398 in fines and costs.
