Mason County Board of Commissioners Opening

Due to a vacancy for the District 2 Mason County Commissioner position, an appointment (see MCL. 46.412) will need to be made to fill this position for the remainder of the term, which expires December 31, 2024. 

Interested applicants must be a registered voter and a resident of the Mason County Commissioner District 2 (which includes City of Ludington Wards 3B, 4, 6B and Pere Marquette Township 1). Please submit your letter of interest and resume no later than 2 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 17, 2023to the following address:

The appointment will be made at the 7 p.m. Special Board of Commissioners meeting on October 24, 2023. Interested applicants should plan on attending this meeting to address the board.
