Nordhouse Dunes beach cleanup is Saturday 

GRANT TOWNSHIP — In observation of National Public Lands Day, Friends of Nordhouse Dunes is looking for volunteers to assist with beach cleanup beginning at noon on Saturday, Sept. 23. The group is partnering with the US Forest Service and Hamlin Lake Preservation Society to also give away free camp trowels to campers who are in the area. 

This wishing to help can meet at the Nurnberg Road trailhead parking lot. Those who do not wish to hike to the beach can help at the parking lot. Those attending are asked to bring work gloves, water and food. Snacks will be provided.
