Construction equipment, fuel stolen from job site

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — Construction equipment and fuel were reported stolen from a job site at the Fisher Road bridge construction project Wednesday, Sept. 20, shortly after 7 a.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The site is located in the 3600 block of West Fisher Road, west of Victory Corners Road.

The following is other recent police activity in Mason County:

Monday, Sept. 18, 2023:

  • 10 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 40-year-old Grand Rapids man was arrested on a warrant at the Mason County Jail, City of Ludington.

Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023:

  • Noon, (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), ​two-vehicle crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 3:31 p.m., (MCSO), breaking and entering, 7000 block of South Morton Road, Riverton Township. The complainant reported someone had broken into a residence.

No activity for Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023 was reported by the Ludington Police Department or the Scottville Police Department.
