Petunia Parade Dollar Drop this afternoon

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Petunia Parade will hold a Dollar Drop event today, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rotary Park. Those wishing to contribute to the non-profit organization that plants and maintains the petunias on Ludington Avenue, Loomis Street and Ferry Street, may drive north on Lewis Street from Ludington Avenue and drop money in a bucket. 

The petunias are scheduled to be removed on Saturday, Sept. 16 with a special volunteer celebration to take place afterwards.
