Employment Opportunity: DPW Superintendent

The City of Ludington is accepting resumes for the Department of Public Works Superintendent position. 

Residency within 20 miles of the nearest Ludington city boundary is required.  This is an exempt position that serves as a key member of the city management team.  Responsible for management of the DPW including streets, sidewalks, traffic control, water distribution, sanitary and storm sewers, parks, fleet maintenance, buildings and grounds, etc. 

Minimum qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent with formal education and training in construction management and skilled trades and seven years of progressively more responsible experience in public works operations and supervision or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Ability to acquire a S-2 License within five years of hire.
• Ability to obtain Class A and B Underground Storage License.
