Obituary: Pansy Knott, 76, of Fountain

Pansy Mae Knott, 76, of Fountain, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born September 26, 1946, the daughter of Dewey Grandville Medley and Pansy Ilene Phillips Medley. 

Pansy was a housekeeper in Ludington, where she grew up, and met her future husband, Harry, on the job. On September 17, 1970, Harry Robert Knoll and Pansy were married and shared many wonderful years of married bliss until Harry’s passing. 

Pansy’s main job was being a homemaker. Her life was devoted to her family and spending time with them made her the happiest. 

Pansy is survived by her children, Harry (Sue) Knott, Agnes Nan (Scott) Fenner, Maria Plasterer, Charlene Knott; 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and many “adopted” grandchildren; sisters, Mary Ilene Lange, Bonnie Griffin, and Silvia Griffin. 

Pansy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James (Bing), Carl, Frank, Ray (Bud), Russel, and Dewey Gregory; sisters, Thelma, Marida, and Shirley; husband, Harry; and son, Dewey. 

Visitation will be held Saturday August 26, 2023, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington. A graveside service will follow starting at 4 p.m. at Bachellor Cemetery in Sheridan Township. Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.oakgroveludington.com.
