MANISTEE — The three motorists reported missing Monday were found Monday night at the Little River Casino in Manistee.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Office had been attempting to locate Shirley Brunson, 78, and her husband William Brunson, 92, along with their 43-year-son, William. The three had left Detroit at 7:50 a.m. Sunday en-route to their daughter’s house in Free Soil but did not arrive when expected.
The sheriff’s office reported this morning that the three had been found at the casino after Shirley Brunson had apparently suffered from a medical condition and was transported to West Shore Hospital in Manistee. Emergency responders recognized the name and notified Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Tribal Police.
