Public Notice: City of Scottville Commissioner-At-Large

The City of Scottville is seeking to fill the following vacancy:

The City of Scottville is currently accepting letters of interest for the purpose of filling an At Large City Commission seat. The successful candidate will be appointed to the City Commission until the next regular City election held in November of 2024.  The successful applicant must be a resident of the City of Scottville for at least one year immediately preceding their appointment to office.  The successful applicant must also be a qualified and registered voter of the City of Scottville prior to their appointment and throughout their tenure in office.  Interested persons must submit a Letter of Interest to the City Manager at Scottville City Hall, 105 North Main Street, Scottville, MI 49454 or CityManager@cityofscottville.org.  Letters of Interest will be received until Thursday, July 20th, 2023.  The appointment shall be made no later than Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Regular Commission meeting that starts at 6 p.m.  For further information you may contact the City offices at 231-757-4729.  The City of Scottville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
