LUDINGTON — The 2013 West Shore Art Fair planning committee is looking for volunteers to assist with various duties over the July 5 to 7 weekend, including artist check-in, information booth, artist assistance, children’s activity area, children’s art shopping area, grounds team and section leaders. Help especially is needed for Friday, July 5 and Sunday, July 7 shifts that involve some physical strength to set up/break down tents and barricades.
Volunteers are asked to commit to a four-hour shift, and they will receive a commemorative tee-shirt for their time. Interested candidates can review volunteer opportunities and select the desired area and time to volunteer athttp://www.
The 2013 West Shore Art Fair takes place July 6 to 7, 2013 at the Ludington City Park, featuring 75 jury-selected fine artists across a variety of mediums, including fiber, jewelry, clay, glass and photography. In its 45th year, the open-air, juried fine art and fine crafts show is sponsored for the first time by the Ludington Area Arts Council. In addition to original art hand-selected by a panel of experienced artists, the show also features art demonstrations, live performances, food stations and a children’s craft area.
