Covenant Christian School bringing back annual auction

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Covenant Christian School is bringing back its fundraiser auction following a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The auction has traditionally been a major fundraiser for the private Christian school located at 2980 W. US 10-31, raising between $20,000 to $25,000 for the school’s general budget.

While tuition covers salaries, the remainder of the operating and capital budget relies on fundraisers such as the auction and the school’s Yada Yada Resale store.

The auction will be held in person at the school on Saturday, March 4. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the auction will begin at 6 p.m.

The events will include a silent auction, raffle items, a cash-and-carry room, and a live auction led by Michigan Auctioneer Champion Ridge Bollheimer.  Cluck Bucket of Ludington will also cater the event. In addition, Ludington Mayor Mark Barnett will be emceeing the event.
