Squires will continue as District 4 county commissioner

Dr. Lewis Squires will keep his seat as the District 4 Mason County commissioner. Squires, a Republican, defeated challenger Rita Copenhaver, a Democrat, 1,335 to 788. District 4 includes Amber Township and the northern half of Pere Marquette Township. 

Squires has bene on the commission for 16 years.
